Together with acclaimed international fashion photographer Fadil Berisha, Mila worked on PHOENIX, a series of photography-based works. In their dialogue both artists shared their perspectives on regeneration, growth and reinvention. Reflecting on Greek mythology and cyclicality, Mila has written a haiku while Fadil selected photographies from his exclusive archive, capturing the essence of PHOENIX. Mila further digitally retouched these photographs and merged them with a series of her physical abstract paintings. The result is a vibrant and modern take on the sisyphean human fate.
