4AM is a special time. A time where the difference between good and bad becomes blurred. No wonder folk myths dub it the devil's hour. The work 4AM depicts the ambiguity of this hour, evoking an uneasy feeling of detachment and danger while being aesthetical and expressive. The underlying b/w photography has been captured by Mila herself - exactly at 4am on travels prior to the pandemic. Further Mila integrated one of her haikus in the art work, adding a further level of reflection.
